Pink Flip Flops

I decided to get my very first pair of pink flip flops right after I had been out with some friends for a very nice dinner out that was also at a very expensive restaurant one evening and I had seen some one wearing them.  The way that she wore her pink flip flops really changed my whole mind set about flips flops in general.  You see she was a very beautiful woman and she was obviously a very stylish woman as well.  She was wearing a very beautiful sort of shiny pink colored top, strait legged black slacks and pink colored pink flip flops!  It looked amazing and she really seemed so confident about her look and everything looked very put together and well thought out.  Until that day, when I thought about flip flops I really just thought about something that you might wear to the beach or around the pool or other such activities, and certainly not something that you would wear out to a restaurant like that but she certainly changed my mind and I am loving my new found favorite shoes, my pink flip flops.

I do not even think that I waited a whole day before I was out looking for my own pair of pink flip flops and I found several that I really liked.  It did not take long before I figured out how easy they were to pair with just about any thing from jeans and a tee shirt to slacks and very dressy tops.  On top of that I also found out that they really made me stand out against everyone else, and certainly not in a bad way!  All of my friends were so intrigued by my pink flip flops that they all wanted to know where I had bought them and how it was that I came up with the idea of pairing them with some of my nicest out fits.  Of course, I did not tell them that I had seen some one else wearing pink flip flops like that and let my friends think that I had come up with the idea all on my own.  That worked for a while, until they started seeing them being worn by the stars on TV and then my secret was out.

It just goes to show you that you should never hide a great fashion tip, like pink flip flops, when you find one!  Now when my friends and I go out we all wear great pink flip flops.  They come in several different styles and we haven’t been able to think of a color that we cant find a pair in!  Truly, I have become a flip flops in the winter kind of girl!
